At Hugh Sexey Church of England Middle School our pupils experience a broad and ambitious Art curriculum, rich in skills and knowledge with endless opportunities to explore creatively. Art lessons are interactive and develop a passion for Art. Our inclusive curricular design caters to all abilities whilst offering a window of opportunity for our more able pupils to stretch and grow.
The curriculum offers a rich tapestry of skills and caters for all abilities. Lessons promote a learning environment that offers cultural and social development through exploring the lives and experiences of different Artists. Pupils are actively encouraged to try new skills and approaches and to not be afraid of failure or mistakes. Diversity is at the forefront of what we do, every child is supported and has access to high quality lessons and a range of different resources to develop artistic flair.
